International Contest of Student Research Papers on Economics and Economic Policy
The International Contest of Students Research Papers on Economics and Economic Policy will be held at the Faculty of Economics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv at the start of the 2021–2022 academic year. The Contest is designed for students undertaking bachelor’s or master’s degree programs from tertiary education organizations in Ukraine or other countries, notwithstanding ownership and subordination types of the academic institutions.
The Contest is called to contribute to Ukraine’s integration into the European educational and scientific space, development of the country’s international relations, creation of the conditions for fulfilling the intellectual potential of the talented youth, stimulation of the students’ interest in research.
The Contest consists of two stages:
- September 1 – September 14, 2021. The research papers are reviewed by the inter-university Contest commission and nominated for the second stage.
- September 30 – October 1, 2021 (online mode). The contestants defend their research projects at a scientific and practical conference held within the framework of the Second International Forum: Adaptation. New Economy (EFBM’2021) to earn the Forum’s awards.
An educational institution may submit no more than three research papers for the Contest. The papers in pdf format are emailed with the mandatory indication Economics and Economic Policy in the subject line to the organizing committee: firstname.lastname@example.org (for example, file name: work.cipher.pdf) no later than by 31.08.2021.
The research papers must be written in English on topical issues of economics and economic policy. The papers are to be exploratory and original, have scientific and applied significance, and prepared independently by students or student teams (not more than two co-authors).
The research papers, which have already been submitted to other contests or earned academic awards or distinctions are not accepted. The Contest Commission will not consider the research papers that fail to meet the requirements.
The research papers selected for the second stage will be published in the Contest collection of the student research papers.
